Job Description
Commercial Lines Account Manager Location: In-Office | Hallandale Beach, FL | Miami, FL
About Our Client
Our client is a family-owned insurance agency with nearly five decades of experience, licensed in all 50 states.
The Role
Our client is looking to add experienced Commercial Lines Account Managers to their growing team. This is a fully in-office position — not remote or hybrid — based at one of their locations. You'll manage a substantial book of commercial business while delivering the kind of responsive, relationship-driven service their clients have come to expect.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing approximately $5 million in premium across a portfolio of commercial accounts
- Handling day-to-day account management including policy changes, renewals, and endorsements
- Responding to client inquiries on coverage, policies, and claims
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation within Applied Epic
- Collaborating with producers and team members to ensure seamless service
- Identifying cross-selling opportunities within your existing book
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager
- Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages including D&O, EPLI, cyber liability, and related lines
- Proficiency with Applied Epic or a comparable agency management system
- A valid insurance license
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational habits
- A desire for a long-term career home, not just a next step
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $75,000–$100,000+, commensurate with experience
- 35% commission (new and renewal) on any new business you bring in
- Health insurance, majority employer-paid
- 100% employer-paid long-term disability and group life insurance
- Optional dental, vision, AFLAC, and ancillary benefits at group rates
- Pet insurance available
- 401(k) with 4% employer match (eligible after one year)
- Paid continuing education and professional development support
Why This Opportunity
This agency has been doing this for nearly 50 years and they're still growing — which says something. You'll be joining a team that genuinely invests in its people, prioritizes work-life balance, and builds careers rather than just filling seats. If you're looking for stability, strong compensation, and a culture that actually lives its values, this is worth exploring.
Please note: This is an in-office position. Candidates must be willing to work in office.
